NEW TUPI, Jan 20: Villagers from New Tupi and Old Tupi along with people from Tirath Hydel Camp benefitted from a Sarkar Aapke Dwar (SAD) camp organised here on Saturday by the Tirap district administration.
Deputy Commissioner (in-charge) Tagam Mibang attended the camp, and distributed LED bulbs, free LPG connections, pamphlets on disaster management, and income certificates among the people.
He urged the locals to cooperate with the government officials to ensure free and fair polling during the forthcoming elections, without creating unnecessary law and order problems. (DIPRO)
