ITANAGAR, Jan 30: The All Palin Chambang Yangte Gangte and Tarak-Lengdi Students’ Union (APCYGTSU) has in a meeting with the Kra-Daadi deputy commissioner, DDSE and various HoDs of the education sector on 25 January, appealed to the authorities to look into the various grievances affecting the district’s educational institutes.
The grievances include shortage of teachers’ quarters, shortage of subject teachers, lack of sanitation facilities, classrooms, and hostel facilities for students of interior areas, etc.
Earlier, a team of the APCYGTSU had also conducted an educational tour-cum-awareness campaign from 21 to 24 January to create awareness on issues like health and hygiene, basic elementary education etc.
