NAHARLAGUN, Feb 3: As many as 70 schoolchildren benefitted from a free health camp organised by Itanagar-based North East Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital (NEHMCH) at Oju Welfare Mission here on Sunday.
Senior medical officer from the NEHMCH, Dr Asadul SK, informed that the college has been organizing such camps in various parts of the capital complex, Papum Pare district, and other parts of the state.
He said this was the college’s first health camp of the year, and that similar camps would be organised in rural areas of the capital complex soon.
“We have provided medicines free of cost to the students of Oju Mission and to other nearby people who turned up for the camp. We also provided a few warm clothes, games and sports items and school stationery to the children,” said Dr Asadul.
Besides Dr Asadul, Drs Bubli Gupta, Nangdek Taidong and Aditya Lamgota along with paramedical staff and 30 students and internees of the college conducted the camp.
