ITANAGAR, Feb 10: The Border Roads Organisation (BRO) has intensified the construction work on the Mago-Chuna and the Yarlung-Lamang roads in the state, BRO Director General (DG) Lt Gen Harpal Singh informed Union MoS for Home Kiren Rijiju during a meeting here on Friday.
The two discussed the progress of the MoHA roads entrusted to the BRO. The DG said the BRO is ensuring maintenance of the completed Khinzimane-Jimmithang and Sungatsar-Kharsangla roads.
Rijiju on his part credited the BRO for utilizing almost double the budget than last year, and assured that funds would never be a constraint in building MoHA roads. He, however, stressed that the pace of work should not be comprised.
Project Arunank CE Brig RS Rawal was present during the meeting.
