JOLLANG, Mar 11: The Don Bosco College here concluded its third Lt Fr Salew Thomas Memorial Volleyball Tournament and first Bosco Futsal Tournament on Monday.
In the volleyball finals, the team of B.Com 6th semester won in the girls’ category and BA 2ndSemester (A) won in the boys’ category. The BA 2nd semester (C) girls and BA 4th semester (C) boys came second in their respective categories.
The Department of History lifted the futsal winners’ trophy and BA 4th semester (C) reached the second position.
Attending the final event as chief guest, state’s Trade and Commerce Director Tokong Pertin exhorted the students to not only focus on their academic pursuits, but physical fitness as well.
He also asked the students to maintain discipline in their lives.
College Principal Dr Fr Jose Karamullil also spoke and encouraged the students.
