LONGDING, Apr 5: Longding DC Vikram Singh Malik reviewed the security scenario in the district on Friday, in view of the upcoming elections.
Addressing the meeting with the SP and officers of the Indian Army, the Assam Rifles (AR) and the CRPF, the DC expressed confidence in the preparedness of the security forces in the district.
A joint control room, comprising officials of the civil administration, the police, the CRPF, the AR and the army has been established for better coordination between the various security agencies. (DIPRO)
