RUKSIN, Jun 10: Pasighat West MLA Ninong Ering has assured to send a proposal for a central aid scheme to introduce erosion control measures against the threat posed by the Ngorlung river in Ruksin circle of East Siang district.
He gave the assurance after residents of Ngorlung village submitted a memorandum regarding the matter during his visit here on Monday. He assured to take it up under his LAD fund, if required.
Ering, who was accompanied by Ruksin ADC Kabit Apang and local leaders, informed that the state government has started various infrastructure development works under state-sponsored schemes in the current financial year.
He directed the local administration to convene a public meeting here on 14 June, to prepare the AOP of the current year.
