ROING, Jun 26: Eleven students of class VI, IX and XI were awarded with laptops and scholarships selected through the talent hunt examination under the Acharya Dronacharya Gurukul Yojana 2018-19 by the Education department during a programme held at the Anchal Samity Hall here in Lower Dibang Valley district on Wednesday.
Also, smart phones were distributed amongst class XII girl students of the district for 2017-18.
On the occasion, ADC Tapik Pertin advised the students to study hard to excel in their chosen field, while DDSE Ego Doye informed the parents and students about various government schemes, like the talent hunt exams and CM’s Samast Siksha Yojana to improve the school infrastructure, provision of Mid Day Meals on all working days, and other projects being implemented in the district.
