MLA appeals Ekal Vidyalaya teachers to create human resources

RUKSIN, Jun 26: Geku-Mariyang MLA Kanggong Taku has appealed to the teachers of the Ekal Vidyalaya to create human resources for nation building.
“Teachers should guide young children towards the right way as they are the future of our country,” the MLA said while addressing the concluding function of the five-day training of the teachers and resource persons of Ekal Vidyalaya, held under the theme of “Ekal Abhiyan” here on Tuesday.
He further opined that the children and youths should be moulded in the right direction with the right knowledge and working skills as the future of the state and nation lies in the hands of youths and younger generation.
Earlier, the five-day training, which was sponsored by the Friends of Tribal Society of Arunachal Pradesh (FTSAP), was inaugurated by East Arunachal Unit Ekal Abhiyan Centre’s president Er Okom Siram, in presence of its general secretary Makpak Peyang, Northeast in-charge Nitai Das, Assam state unit in-charge Ajoy Kr Narzary and resource person from FTSAP Ramesh Limbu.
The FTSAP is a non-profit organization, which started its activities in the landlocked state in 2016 and is currently running 390 schools (known as Ekal Vidyalaya) in the state and has already covered remote districts of Kurung Kumey, Kra Daadi, Upper Siang, Siang and Dibang Valley.
