ITANAGAR, Jun 28: The Arunachal Youth Organization has sought the intervention of the chief secretary for early completion of the 38-km PMGSY road from Chambang to Yangte in Kra Daadi district.
In a representation to the CS, the organization on Friday said even though the Rs 37 crore PMGSY project crossed the deadline of completion on 17 March, 2017, the construction work is still progressing at a snail’s pace.
“The work is in a pitiable condition. The initial work of formation-cutting is not completed yet. There is no possibility that the remaining 80 percent of the work will be executed by the executing agency at the earliest,” the organisation said, and requested the CS to instruct the authorities concerned to ensure early completion of the project.
