AALO, Aug 16: West Siang DC Swetika Sachan has designated 53 officers to conduct thorough inspection of all 37 schools in the district.
The officers have been tasked with checking the teachers’ attendance, assessing the serving of midday meals to the students of primary schools, seeing whether the school timings are being maintained, inspecting the smart classrooms, wherever incorporated, assessing the quality of teaching and the students’ level of understanding, etc.
The DC said the action has been necessitated “due to the poor results leading to abrupt fall in academic graph of the district despite all efforts and facilities extended to the education sector by the government.” (DIPRO)
