AALO, Aug 20: The district level science seminar for West Siang was conducted at the government higher secondary school here on 17 August.
Karma Riram of Nehru Memorial Higher Secondary School and Karyir Basar of VKV Jirdin, both Class 9 students, bagged the first and second position, respectively.
The topic of the seminar was ‘Periodic table of chemical elements and its impact on human welfare’.
Deputy Commissioner Swetika Sachan and DDSE Eto Ete encouraged the young students to take part in such seminars to develop a scientific temperament.
The DC distributed the prizes to the winners. (DIPRO)
