TELAM, Aug 22: The foundation stone for a mini-library at the government higher secondary school here Lower Siang district was laid on 20 August, under the initiative of the Ramle Banggo Students’ Union and the Ramle Banggo Welfare Society.
The event also featured a plantation programme in the school campus, besides felicitation of achievers and ‘career and youth counselling’ by Arunachal’s Shillong (Meghalaya) DRC Marge Sora.
MLA Gokar Basar, who was also present, lauded the organisations for their initiative of setting up the mini-library at the school, and assured to provide support to everyone in improving the education scenario of the state in general and his area in particular.
