NAHARLAGUN, Aug 24: The Sports Authority of India’s SAG centre here on Saturday organised an ‘anti-doping awareness programme’, under the aegis of the National Anti-Doping Agency, to make young sportspersons of the state aware of the ill-effects of doping.
Dr Meenakshi Saikia advised the sportspersons not to indulge in any activity that would harm their careers, and asked them to strictly follow the dos and don’ts.
Coaches and senior officers of the SAG centre also attended the programme.
