TAWANG, Sep 3: Tawang DC Sang Phuntsok on Tuesday instructed the district’s HoDs to prepare a defect-free electoral roll.
Chairing a meeting here to discuss the Electors Verification Programme, the DC asked the HoDs to educate their staffs about the programme and ensure their full participation.
The DC also informed that the Sarkar Aapke Dwar camps for 2019-20 in the district would begin at Mago village on 7 September.
EAC (Election) Lobsang Tsetan spoke on the “benefits, role and responsibilities of the electors,” online submission of forms, the process of logging onto the National Voter Service Portal, etc.
He informed that revision would follow the pre-revision process, and the integrated draft electoral roll would be ready by 15 October.
Besides the HoDs, SP SS Kalsi also attended the meeting. (DIPRO)
