ROING, Oct 16: The first Childline Advisory Board (CAB) meeting was held here recently in Lower Dibang Valley district under the chair of Deputy Commissioner Mitali Namchoom.
Addressing members of the advisory board and representatives from the ICDS, DDSE, Labour department, DCPU, DMO, DYSP, and CCI, Namchoom advised the Childline team to do its best despite limited resources they had and continue doing the good work.
She further entrusted the team “to work with commitment and take every case equally, irrespective of caste, colour and social backgrounds.”
CAB secretary cum Roing Childline director RK Paul Chawang also spoke on the importance of the board.
Earlier, the advisory board presented its vision and objectives, the importance of a CAB body, the CCI, CWC, and the Police department. The team also presented various activities and events conducted by the Roing unit of the Childline..
