Mishra advises Arunachal Bhavan officials to be helpful

KOLKATA, Dec 16: Arunachal Governor BD Mishra advised the officials of the Arunachal Bhavan here in West Bengal to “go beyond the call of duty” to assist the people coming from Arunachal for various purposes, and to ensure their safety and wellbeing.
The governor, who is on a three-day official visit to Kolkata, said this during his visit to the Arunachal Bhavan last Saturday.
After inspecting the bhavan, Mishra directed the officials to improve the beds and the toilets in the establishment. He also advised them to “refurbish the dormitories, and provide more cots and cupboards for men and women.”
Mishra also visited the tourism office and the state’s emporium in the same building.
Later in the day, the governor met his West Bengal counterpart, Jagdeep Dhankhar. (Raj Bhavan)
