NAHARLAGUN, Jan 15: The month-long festival AURORA-2020 of the Tomo Riba Institute of Health & Medical Sciences (TRIMHS) began at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium here on Wednesday.
Speaking on the inaugural day, TRIHMS Director Dr Moji Jini informed that the AURORA has been conceived to facilitate various extra-curricular activities along with studies.
Dr Jini further announced to invite Chief Minister Pema Khandu, Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein and Health & Family Welfare Minister Alo Libang for the valedictory function scheduled for 15 February, which coincides with the college’s foundation day.
He, however, regretted the inordinate delay in ongoing construction of stadium infrastructure, and assured to ask the contractor to expedite it to meet the needs of the students.
AURORA-2020 organizing committee chairman, PMR specialist Dr Minggam Pertin urged the students to take part in all events which have been planned during afternoon and evening hours of working days and holidays but without missing any classes.
