BOLENG, Feb 11: As many as 474 patients benefitted from a series of health camps held at various villages of Siang district from 3 to 11 February.
The villages included Molo, Rayang, Tumbin, Kaying, Kaying Camp, Paksing, Kerang and Bongne, in Payum and Kaying circles.
The medical team was led by Dr Arati Godbole from the BAMS, Maharashtra, and the camps were enabled by the Siang AVP unit.
Dr Godbole said it was observed during screening that a majority of boys and girls under 12 years of age had skin diseases, followed by calcium deficiency and conjunctivitis among the patients.
