ITANAGAR, Feb 13: A 10-member delegation of the Arunachal Pradesh State Government Pensioners’ Association (APSGPA), led by its president Lod Kojee, called on Governor BD Mishra here on Thursday and sought “re-fixation of pension of pre-2016 pensioners and family pensioners as per rules in place.”
In a press release, the association said the delegation also sought “release of nine months fixed medical allowance arrears from 1 July, 2017 to 31 March, 2018,” besides seeking release of dearness relief to pensioners along with the release of dearness allowance to serving government employees.
A team of the APSGPA also met the chief secretary and placed the same grievances before him.
The association said the governor and chief secretary assured the delegation that they would look into the matter of “re-fixation of pension in the next financial year during April 2020, while the other issues would be fulfilled within March this year.”
