PALIN, May 12: Palin MLA Balo Raja and Tali MLA Jikke Tako on Tuesday inspected the earmarked quarantine centres at Don Bosco School, the RMSA girls’ hostel, the indoor hall, and the Nyokum hall here in Kra Daadi district.
After inspecting the facilities, the MLAs asked the district administration to submit proposals with regard to improving the water and electricity supply, wherever required, in the quarantine centres.
They later convened a coordination meeting with the HoDs, during which it emerged that most of the heads of offices are absent from their places of posting.
Taking strong exception to the irresponsibility on the part of the officers during this period of emergency, the MLAs said strict action should be initiated against such officers.
They asked all the office heads and staffs to remain at their places of posting, discharge their duties, and assist the administration in the fight against Covid-19. (DIPRO)
