ITANAGAR, Jun 17: The All Puroik Students’ Union (APSU) has appealed to the state’s chief secretary to speed up the file process for creation of ZPM seat for Puroik community as per the Gauhati High Court’s judgment pronounced on 13 July 2015.
APSU, in its representation to CS on Wednesday, rued that even after several years of the court’s order and appeal of the All Puroik Welfare Society (APWS), the file process for creation of ZPM seat has been kept delayed ‘despite the completion of formalities from the Deputy Commissioners of East Kameng and Kurung Kumey districts.’
The union said, through the RTI it came to know that the file regarding creation of ZPM has been circulating between Panchayat Raj secretary and chief secretary without any specific outcome.
‘As on 16 June, the file has been moved to chief secretary’s office,’ the union added.
