LEMMI, Jun 24: Pakke Kessang District Olympic Association (PKDOA) on Tuesday celebrated the International Olympic Day here by maintaining social distancing norms and other Covid-19 guidelines.
PKDOA president Atung Tana hoisted the Olympic flag.
The association distributed facemasks and sanitizers among the public, officers and staffs of the DC and SP’s office, police station and the inspection bungalow here.
Earlier, the members observed a two-minute silence to pay tribute to the 20 brave Indian soldiers, who made the ultimate sacrifice during the violent face-off with China in Ladakh’s Galwan Valley.
