DAPORIJO, Jul 21: The All Tagin Students’ Union has expressed discontentment over the decision of the government higher secondary school (GHSS) here and its alumni association to start the school admission process in the first week of August.
In a representation to the Upper Subansiri DC, the union on Tuesday said “thousands of students are studying in the GHSS, which is vulnerable area for Covid-19 and there is high risk of spreading of pandemic in such crowded area.
“Such important decision should be taken with due consultation with the other stakeholders,” it said, and requested the DC to cancel the decision without delay.
