KHONSA, 7 Apr: Tirap Deputy Commissioner Taro Mize received an amount of Rs 2, 95, 009 from Lower Subansiri Deputy Commissioner Somcha Lowang donated towards the relief and rehabilitation of Longliang fire victims, in presence of members of the Nocte Women’s Association.
The amount has been collected from various offices, unions, NGOs and organization of Lower Subansiri district, including a few individual donors, through a donation spearheaded by the Apatani Students’ Union.
Acknowledging the generous contribution, the Tirap DC highly appreciated the kind gesture of the people of Lower Subansiri district and its administration on behalf of the fire victims of Longliang village.
