AALO, 19 Apr: Industries Minister Tumke Bagra on Monday inspected the ongoing road project from Nigmoi to Yeggo in West Siang district, being executed by the Aalo PWD division.
The executing department had reported an alignment problem, which was inspected by the minister. Work on the road project has been affecting the water supply line to Aalo.
The minister took note of the growing problem and assured to provide the required fund for realigning the affected 300 mm DI pipeline stretching over a distance of 2 kms, which is highly vulnerable due to dumping of muck over it.
The Aalo PWD SE and the Aalo PHED SE along with officers of both the departments accompanied the minister to provide detailed briefing on the ongoing work and the realignment process. (DIPRO)
