ITANAGAR, 18 Jun: Itanagar Capital Region Deputy Commissioner Talo Potom has said that the state government will soon take a decision, based on the suggestions made by the state health task force, regarding the partial lockdown measures in place in the ICR which ends on 21 June.
Speaking to the press here on Friday, Potom said that the ICR district administration (DA) held a meeting with the stakeholders on Thursday and widely discussed the issue.
“Members of market committees, the IMC, religious leaders, the local MLA, student bodies, etc, attended the virtual meeting. Based on various inputs and suggestions given by those who attended the meeting, the DA has submitted suggestions to the state government,” informed Potom.
He said the DA is awaiting orders from the government in this regard.
“Till now, nothing has been finalized on whether to continue the partial lockdown or lift it,” he said.
