As an avid reader of your daily, it was disappointing to read a very gender-biased article in your ‘Monday Musing’ column, titled ‘On responsible feminism’. I really do expect a daily with your journalistic standards and ethics to be aware of the influence you have on your readers, particularly young minds. Your daily itself has covered several reports of gender crimes and inequality that persist in our state, and to read an article so conveniently simplifying many facets of gross gender disparities, and even resorting to slut shaming in a particular paragraph when the writer absolves men of having any participation in extramarital affairs, I must admit it was very triggering.
