MIAO, 13 Jul: The Indian Army and the Miao administration jointly organized a ‘women recruitment guidance and online registration camp’ here in Changlang district on Monday.
The Indian Army will be recruiting 100 women into the military police corps. At least 215 girl students from different pockets of the state got themselves registered online on Monday. The army provided expert guidance to all the candidates.
ADC Sunny K Singh, who played a vital role in making the event happen, assured the students that all possible help would be provided to them during training, stay and their final journey to Shillong (Meghalaya), where the recruitment rally will take place.
The ADC arranged airlifting of 35 students from Vijaynagar to ensure their enrollment. The training for the rally in Shillong will start soon.
