TAWANG, 15 Jul: The status of Covid-19 vaccination in Tawang district was reviewed by the district administration here on Thursday.
Addressing administrative and medical officers of the district, Deputy Commissioner Sang Phuntsok asked them to increase information, education and communication activities with regard to strict adherence to Covid-appropriate behaviour and SOPs issued by the government from time to time.
Stressing on identifying migrants, their occupations and vaccination status, Phuntsok said that “uploading of Covid-19-related information to the portal must be ensured.”
The DC instructed the administrative officers to involve booth level officers appointed by the election department to identify the beneficiaries for vaccination.
DRCHO Dr Rinchin Neema informed that pregnant women and persons with disabilities are to be given vaccination at their residences.
Grievances placed by the MOs of the Lungla CHC and the Mogto PHC regarding shortage of manpower and other issues were also discussed with DMO Dr Wangdi Lama. (DIPRO)
