Three days state level training prog on PPC begins

ITANAGAR, 20 Sep: Three days state level training programme on ‘People’s Plan Campaign (PPC) – 2021 (Sabki Yojana, Sabka Vikaash)’ conducted by the State Institute of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj (SIRD&PR)  began here on Monday.

Inaugurating the training, PR & RD Secretary Amamath Talwade urged the ZPCs, ZPMs & DPDOs to take personal initiatives to get every scheme implemented at the ground level.

He also emphasized on the importance and significance of PPC “which is pre-requisite for the successful planning and implementation of  the schemes in the grass root level” and requested the participants to take active part in planning process.

Talwade informed that “the SIRD&PR is committed to give best training in the days to come.”

Informing that currently  the Panchayat schemes are technically based and linked to e-Gram Swaraj Portal, he further  apprised the participants on ‘Sustainable Development Goals’ and performance of various district related to Panchayati Raj and Rural Development.

Earlier, SIRD&PR Director Habung Lampung requested the senior officers of the district and senior functionaries of Panchayati Raj Institutions to attend such training “since they are the one who can guide others in the districts and become exemplary.” He highlighted various activities of SIRD&PR.

RD Director Kego Jilen exhorted the participants to give timely reports on RD schemes. He further informed that the status of Arunachal Pradesh in the performance of MGNREGA has improved at the national level.

Assistant Director-cum-Course Coordinator Rodo Bui highlighted the course contents.

The  three days training  included  various topics like overviews on GPDP, 15th FC, preparation of GPDP, Sustainable Development Goal and Project Monitoring Units.

ZPC, ZPM, DPDO, EO (RE), PTA etc of various districts are attending the three days training.
