RAGA, 6 Oct: Under the CSR initiative of NHPC Ltd, Dollungmukh, the ALIMCO in collaboration with the Kamle district administration and district SJETA nodal officer organized a free aids and appliances distribution camp for divyangjans here on Wednesday.
Distributing motorized tricycles, wheelchairs, axilla and elbow crutches, walking sticks and hearing aids to the Divyangjans, Raga ADC Atin Padung requested the beneficiaries to use the aids and appliances for self-reliance in life. Padung further requested NHPC and ALIMCO to conduct more camps to cover all the divyangjans of the district. Altogether, 34 aids and appliances were distributed in the camp.
CDPO cum SEJETA Nodal Officer Kina Takka and Dollungmukh NHPC Senior Manager Rajiv Deori and P Lenin of ALIMCO also spoke on the occasion.
Lenin also demonstrated the operational aspect of the appliances. (DIPRO)
