BOMDILA, 19 Oct: The West Kameng district legal services authority (DLSA), led by its Chairman Tageng Padoh carried out a door-to-door legal awareness campaign covering Senge Dzong village and Baisakhi in Dirang subdivision on Tuesday.
Advocate Rinchin Khandu along with paralegal volunteer Pema Yangjom sensitized the villagers to the Arunachal Pradesh Victim Compensation Scheme, 2011, the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009, the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005, the Juvenile Justice Act, 2015, legal aid clinics, etc.
Around 70 households were covered during the daylong campaign.
