AALO, 19 Oct: A district level training programme themed ‘People’s plan campaign sabka vikas sabki yojana’ for the ZPMs and GPCs of West Siang district was conducted at the ZPC conference hall here on Tuesday.
Organized by the district panchayat development office, the programme included lectures by district master trainers on topics such as the 15th Finance Commission, gram panchayat development plan, PMAY (G) and MGNREGA.
ZPC Babon Romin expressed gratitude to the government for devolving powers under the SPICE model to the panchayats. He also requested the government to initiate steps for early completion of the general ground in Aalo. (DIPRO)
