AALO, 30 Nov: Members of the Aalo branch of the APWWS, along with around 50 ANM students participated in an awareness programme on legal adoption, conducted at the government ANM school here in West Siang district on Tuesday.
Informing that November is observed as the National Adoption Awareness Month, ICDS DD Bahi Koyu urged the representatives of the APWWS unit and others to spread awareness about legal adoption among the public and ensure that all cases of adoption are legalized in the district.
He also briefed the participants about the Child Protection Society in the district, which monitors and supervises the regulation relating to adoption.
Probation Officer Mijum Doke made a presentation on the legal procedure of adoption and other laws relating to adoption. (DIPRO)
