Discrepancy in recruitment process

Editor,
I would like to draw everyone’s attention to the discrepancies which happened during the recently conducted ArSRLM recruitment.
The Arunachal State Rural Livelihoods Mission is an autonomous body under the aegis of the government of Arunachal Pradesh. Thus, the recruitment process is handled by it.
Just like the previous recruitments, a candidate had to undergo written examination, group discussion, personal interview and rural attachment test, where a candidate had to compulsorily stay in a village for five days and give a presentation based on the questions given to them.
Now, the discrepancy came in when it was confirmed that one of the candidates who had applied for block mission manager had actually skipped the rural attachment test, ie, had not stayed in the village and directly gave a presentation.
As per the rule and notice, a candidate is automatically disqualified if he/she doesn’t stay at a village, which is an integral part of the recruitment process.
As per concrete proof, the said candidate didn’t attend or stay in the village but got selected for block mission manager. I would furnish the proofs to the authorities concerned and also request the higher authorities to take necessary action.
I would also like to request all the candidates to stand in unison against such malpractices and to voice their disagreement.
Candidates like me would like to request for a fair recruitment process by handing the recruitment process over to the APSSB and to reconduct the previously held examination.
