NAMSAI, 25 Apr: More than 200 progressive farmers from various parts of Namsai district participated in the first day’s events of a series of weeklong outreach programmes under the Kisan Bhagidari Prathmikta Hamari (KBPH) campaign, which began here on Monday.
The event is being organised by the horticulture department as part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
Training programmes on different horticulture crops, machines and tools will be conducted in all five circles of the district from 25 April to 1 May.
The farmers will also be sensitised to how to avail the benefits of the Atmanirbhar Bhagwani Yojana and the Atmanirbhar Plantation Crop Yojana for the 2022-23 financial year.
