BOMDILA, 11 May: West Kameng became the third district in the state to operationalize the Single Window Clearance System by issuing three fresh trade licenses online through the Ease of Doing Business portal.
ADC Sang Khandu handed over the fresh trade licenses to the applicants at the DC’s conference hall.
He also urged the people of the district to avail the services under Ease of Doing Business to ensure seamless and transparent delivery of services.
Single Window Clearance Authority CEO Tabe Haidar appreciated the DC, ADC and the district planning officer for ‘implementing Ease of Doing Business through the Single Window Clearance System in their district.’
Tabe advised other district to also make the system operational.
The Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) is an index based ranking system developed by the World Bank Group, where countries are ranked based on how conducive the regulatory environment is for investment and business.
A team from planning and investment department conducted a weeks’ hands-on training for the officials of the West Kameng district administration to operationalize the single window clearance system. (DIPRO)
