ROING, 12 May: A team of government officers and police personnel seized 1,626 bottles of beer, along with 1,211 bottles of hard liquor and 28 bottles of wine from around 26 shops here in Lower Dibang Valley district on Tuesday.
The illegal liquor bottles were seized during raids conducted in Mayu-I, Mayu-II, Ezengo, Cheta-I, Cheta-II, the ITI and JNV areas, and nearby areas of Meka, Koronu, Balek, Malek and Abango.
The team included COs Chukhu Taba, Talo Moyong and Gaurav Panwar, DSP Ringu Ngupok, T&E SI Nini Pasing and T&E Assistant Inspector Inya Nake. (DIPRO)
