GEKU, 27 May: A three-day training programme on the Poshan Tracker app was organised for the anganwadi workers (AWW) of Geku and Katan blocks in Upper Siang district by the Geku ICDS project recently.
Poshan Tracker is an MIS-based application which provides a 360-degree view of the activities of the anganwadi centres, such as beneficiary registration, uploading daily activity status, house visits, daily food intake tracking, growth, etc.
All the 35 AWWs were provided with smartphones along with power banks, SIM cards and SC cards, in order to enhance their service delivery.
Geku CDPO Nitnam Padun imparted the training, which was attended by AWWs and supervisors.
Earlier, a two-day basic training programme on Office-related IT tools and apps had been organised for the staff of the Geku ICDS project to facilitate the transition to the e-office mode. (DIPRO)
