YUPIA, 16 Jun: Commending the effort of the health department in providing better healthcare facilities to the people in the far-flung areas of Papum Pare district, Deputy Commissioner Sachin Rana on Thursday told the members of the District Task Force for Immunisation (DTFI) that the success of any programme depends on team work and sincerity.
Chairing a DTFI meeting on routine immunisation and Covid-19 vaccination in the district, the also urged the department to “use development partners like Karuna Trust.”
He requested all the MOs to “relook into the micro plan of routine immunisation and submit the reports within 3-4 days,” and instructed the DMO and the DIPRO to “work out a plan to improve the acceptance rate of Covid-19 vaccination in the district.”
DMO Dr K Perme highlighted “the focus area of health indicators,” and DRCHO Dr Neyang Nitik made a presentation on the status of the routine immunisation, the ‘Har Ghar Dastak’ and the ‘Har School Dastak’ programmes.
The meeting of the District Malaria Elimination Task Force Committee was also conducted simultaneously.
DVBDCO Dr Tana Aruna Likha presented the status of the malaria elimination programme.
Representatives of the women & child development department, MOs, and medical staffers attended the meeting. (DIPRO)
