HAWAI, 23 Jun: Thirty farmers benefitted from a training programme on ‘vaccination and disease prevention in poultry’, organised here by the Anjaw KVK on Thursday.
“The programme was aimed at imparting scientific information and practical demonstration,” KVK Head (i/c) Dr Santosh Kumar, who conducted the training programme, said.
Different aspects of poultry feeding, brooding, breed selection, housing and health management were covered, and a practical demonstration and hands-on training on scheduled vaccination of poultry was conducted by Dr Kumar.
The farmers were later provided with 100 packets of mushroom spawn for round-the-year mushroom cultivation in Hawai circle.
