NAHARLAGUN, 9 Jul: Baken Ete scored 10 times as Miding FC grounded Young Boyz FC 17-3 in a lopsided match of the MSL 7-A-Side Football Tournament at Model Village here on Friday night.
The Miding FC players scored almost at will after Geyum Padu opened the floodgate in the second minute.
Besides Ete, Padu netted four goals. Boya Rida, Menon Ragmor and Kaling Ratan scored one goal each.
For Young Boyz FC, Toko Nikum, Techi Lomin and Techi Losin scored the goals.
In the second match, Lockdown FC defeated MVYA 6-2.
Tape Hakhe scored three goals, while Tadar Nguppa, Nabam Anthony and Suraj Pordung scored a goal each.
Besides an own goal by Jacob Sonam (Lockdown FC), Ape Rampung scored one goal for MVYA.
In a Pool B Match, 5/1 FC beat Chomu FC 2-1.
Nana Rimo and captain Tame Lokam scored the goals for 5/1 FC. Tadam Nguki scored for Chomu FC.
In the fourth and last match, Panye Brothers FC beat Polo City FC 3-0.
Nikter Bai found the net twice, while the third goal was scored by Bengia Ashi.
