ITANAGAR, 25 Nov: The National Medicos Organisation (NMO) and Seva Bharati Arunachal Pradesh (SBAP) organised a voluntary blood donation camp at the Bakin Pertin General Hospital in East Siang HQ Pasighat on Wednesday, on the occasion of Lachit Diwas.
Lachit Diwas is celebrated on 24 November to commemorate the ideals and heroism of the legendary Ahom commander Lachit Borphukan.
Seventeen units of blood were donated by volunteers of the SBAP and the NMO during the camp.
