JIPU, 10 Feb: The Cibo Baagv Ao Kvba (CBAK) has appealed to the Lower Siang district administration to provide immediate relief and rehabilitation to the victims of the 4 February fire accident that had occurred in Jipu village in Likabali circle.
In a press release, the CBAK on Friday informed that the fire completely destroyed two houses and two granaries belonging to one Tapum Dabi and Yujam Mara.
Though no loss of life was reported in the accident, all the belongings of the victims were reduced to ashes.
The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
The CBAK has further urged the district administration to constitute a board or committee to assess the property lost in the fire for early disbursement of compensation.
