ITANAGAR, 27 Aug: Over 25 employers from across the country are expected to participate in the second job fair (for job placement) being organised by Dera Natung Government College (DNGC) on the college campus on 31 August, in collaboration with Itanagar-based National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT) Centre.
A meeting in this regard was held in the office of the DNGC principal on Tuesday. It was attended by the NIELIT Itanagar director and his team, as well as the DNGC principal, besides the coordinator, to chalk out the plan for the mega event.
The event will start at 8 am and culminate at 5:30 pm. The employers participating in the event are Iconic Mahindra, LIC, DY Motors, Maruti Suzuki Arena, Placement-cum-Security Agency, NESOL, North East Environment Engineers Consultant, Rural Shores, Flipkart, NIGLA Group of Companies, Pantaloons, etc.
Interested unemployed youths from across the country (Arunachal in particular) have been invited to take part in the walk-in interview. Every candidate will be allowed to attend interviews with a maximum of three companies in a row.
For any query or information regarding placement, the unemployed youths have been advised to contact DNGC Mathematics Assistant Professor Botem Moyong, who is the programme coordinator, and the NIELIT Centre’s junior assistant Anand Tyring.
Earlier, during the first job fair held on 22 November 2023, a total of 22 companies from across the country took part and around 70 were selected and placed in the respective companies. (DIPRO)
