PASIGHAT, 28 Aug: Urban development, town planning and housing etc. minister Balo Raja arrived here in East Siang district on Wednesday on a two-day visit to assess the progress of various smart city development projects here.
The minister visited a number of construction projects within the township and took stock of their progress.
He visited the IGJHS School auditorium, the Daying Ering stadium, rehabilitation centre, smart car parking, Integrated Command &
Control Centre and the smart city guest house.
Later, the minister held an interactive meeting with officers of the district administration and urban development department.
