Editor,
We appreciate the APPSC for providing a tentative date for the TGT examination, which has relieved some of the anxiety among aspirants. However, several critical issues surrounding the examination remain unaddressed, leaving TGT aspirants in a state of confusion.
The commission is yet to clarify whether there will be a separate recruitment test for TGT before proceeding to the mains. Furthermore, there is no clear communication on whether the examination process will based on the TGT advertisement notified in 2022 or if a new advertisement will be issued, allowing new candidates to apply.
Merely advising candidates to “keep checking on the website” does little help resolve the all these questions. This ambiguity has left many newly eligible TGT candidates, who have completed their BEd degree in 2023-’24 in a dilemma.
Since hardly 40-45 days are left for the TGT examination, we urge the chairman and members of the APPSC to address all these issues promptly and provide clarity to the TGT aspirants.
