‘Safai mitra suraksha shivir’ held

TAWANG, 23 Sep: A ‘Safai mitra suraksha shivir’, under the ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ campaign, was held at Khandro Drowa Tsangmo District Hospital here on Monday.

The initiative aimed to ensure the safety, health, and welfare of sanitation workers, who play a vital role in maintaining a clean and healthy environment.

During the camp, the participants received comprehensive health check-ups and safety assessments, ensuring that they had access to essential healthcare services.

Additionally, personal protective toolkits were distributed to the sanitation workers to promote a safer and healthier working environment.

The event was a collaborative effort between the public health engineering & water supply and the urban development & housing departments. (DIPRO)
