PABUA, 28 Oct: Twenty-five farmwomen attended a training programme on ‘Insect and disease management of cole crops and nutrition kitchen gardening’ conducted here by the East Kameng Krishi Vigyan Kendra on Monday.
During the programme, the KVK horticulture specialist briefed the participants on the technique and strategies of early detection, identification, proper management and treatment of pests and diseases while, the KVK’s community science specialist explained the important role of nutrition garden to enhance household food security and dietary diversity to combat malnutrition.
